well on august 11th 12th and 13th theres 3 seperate shows that i REALLY want to go to!! hahaha
is it fair to go to three shows in a row??? i think pony might hate me!!
i will probably do 3 classes at each or something like that? ones about a 20min trailer ride, ones 40 and ones 10
:( :( DILEMMA!!!

Humm, I was going to say why not just go to the one on the 11th and 13th so the pony has a rest in between but if the pony is fit enough and seems to be managing is it really any different from doing a 3 day pony camp or 3 day event!?

So I say listen to the pony, if he's coping and enjoying himself then go for it :D

Wouldn't worry - they will probably get rained off anyhow!!!!

In all seriousness, I think 2 out of 3 might be a better bet but depends on how fit and enthusaistic your horse is. Mine would be fit enough, but definitely get bored by day 3.

Good luck and have fun, whichever you do x

Go to all of them, no different than going to a championship where you might compete on consecutive days. At least pony will be in his own bed/field each night, and not in temporary wooden unfamiliar stables.

Obviously if your pony seems tired then play it by ear and miss one out.

If your pony is fit enough, go for it. My daughter has PC camp at the end of the month and thats 3 days long and she will be at a show the weekend before. I have however been upping her work and and giving her a few extra hanfulls of pony nuts for the last 4-6 week. And maybe depending on the classes you are doi ng do 2 classes at day.

If I thought the pony would be happy doing 3days & is fit enough I would. But I remember one of your other posts asking if pony would be fit enough to do 3 classes at one show because you hadn't been riding much, so based on that I'd say pick one show.

My daughter's pony has pc camp on 3 consecutive days, followed a month later by Equifest which is 4 consecutive days. I know loads of show ponies that travel from show to show with only a couple days sometimes between.

Go to the shows - it will do no harm!

Best of luck.

If that is the case that it hasnt been ridden much i agree with littlelegs, for my daughters pony to be ridden for 3 days at pc shes worked every evening bar 1 day off a week and i lunge 3-4 times a week in the day to prepare.
