Totally agree, in my opinion being convicted of such widespread, systematic animal abuse should result in a lifetime ban from ever going near an animal again.
 
What the actual eff is going on with that passage? The right knee is coming up with a 90 degree bend and the left one is going straight out in "extension". How utterly bizarre! Never mind the standing ovation.

I have just watched a few of his tests on CMH- the horse is much more extravagant in all trot movements with the left fore. The piaffe is truly awful and an absolute giveaway to how the poor creature is trained. He doesn’t score super high, but that’s beside the point, there should be no place for this horror show in dressage full stop

It's the oddest thing to watch - if I saw a horse doing that in the field I'd be calling the vet.

I don't suppose most people in dressage foresaw a time when criteria for a movement would include 'all legs must be doing the movement'
 
I know there’s that, I’m suggesting it’s not specific enough hence ‘better’ rather than ‘any’ ie it mentions what is seen in the vid as ‘serious faults’ and I’m considering it needs to move to be closer to not actually performedzx
 
Anyone know what his mark was for that movement? If it was above 3 they are not marking in accordance with that guidance.

What's so frustrating is if I did a trot manoeuvre at the very lowest of dressage levels and my little cob (who has quite a flashy trot) threw one leg out like that I have absolutely no doubt the judge would comment. They may not pull me up but there would be "something" in writing.
 
I wouldn't call it "recognisable" and would also call it "irregular" given how it all looks so disjointed. So 3 or below.

The front legs look almost broken when they dangle, its hideous how this has become the "fashion" to aim for, and if that's the way it now is, why should it be allowed to continue as a "sport" when the participants look broken already. And that's before delving into the unsavoury training methods the vast majority use
 
The front legs draw the eye, but check out what's going on behind! I actually wonder if he'll end up with another ban, as he doesn't seem about to change his spots...
 
It starts with the breeding and is then exacerbated by the training and the 'picture' is completed by the awful riding.

I'd be ashamed to have bred a horse that has such loose joints. Poor for soundness and longevity.... but the billionaires are prepared to pay megabucks for the youngsters and then pay further megabucks on vet 'treatments' to keep the poor souls competing as long as possible, especially if they have prospects as stallions!

All round it's a case of 'poor horse'.
