<font color="blue"> My, almost 8 months old, baby has returned home from stud and is itchy. Thankfully not rubbing her mane or tail (yet), but when I remove her rugs morning and evening she goes crazy chewing at herself. Especially at her shoulders, flanks and quarters. A few tiny bald areas have appeared in odd areas (a small patch between her front legs, one around the base of one ear and another on one stifle) and a thorough inspection this morning shows several billion (it looked that many, anyway!) lice eggs in her mane. As she been wormed with Invermectin base wormer a couple of times already I doubt they will be the biting lice variety so does anyone have a safe and effective recommendation for erradicating biting lice from my foal?
I have some Frontline spray (about 20 pumps of it left) and wondered if I could use that, but since most of her itching seems to be around her body area (in addition to the unhatched eggs in her mane) would I have to soak her all over? Doubt the 20 pumps I have left would be enough in that case, or would it?
