Help Finding a Childs Story Book - Pony Related!

Ok, this is probably a very long shot but I am hoping to find a book that my YO mentioned tonight. The horse/pony she is sharing features in it and she said that she'd love a copy.

Trouble is she can't remember what the book is called!

I think it had 'Forest' in the title and was about a pony (or horse) losing it's clop (or possibly clip)

I think she said the pony was called puzzle.

The horse is now 18 years old so the book could also fairly old too, I'm not sure when it was published!

Like I said, a long shot with not much to go on but if anyone can help I would be very grateful!

Blaze and the forest fire? That's the only one I can think of, and think pony is called blaze (obviously), so possibly not

Do you know what the mystery is in this one? I know she definitely said that the pony lost it's clop! (or clip)

We've got one about either an Exmoor or Dartmoor called Pebble.I can't check at the minute as the girls are in bed,but will look it out tomorrow.

Not at all sure. It doesn’t ring any bells, but a quick search round my site has turned up:

Stephen Mogridge wrote a series of books with New Forest in the title: www.janebadgerbooks.co.uk/misc/mogridge.html, but they’re from the fifties, so suspect they’re not right.
