Hi, help & suggestions please.
My husband (Wes on the forum) has broken his collar bone badly today at Brands Hatch while indulging in his other hobby of motorbike racing
Not sure yet if it will need plating, upper limb orthopaedic surgeon will look at x-rays Monday and decide.
He is ok, just in a lot of pain but whatever the outcome he won't be riding for approx 6 weeks, maybe more. So here is my dilemma, how do I go about exercising his boy whilst he is out of action.
Wes started riding him about 6 months ago as Syd frightened me and I lost all confidence (I almost sold him). They are a wonderful partnership and I need to keep him ticking over until Wes is back riding.
It's not an option for me to ride him as I now have a wonderful schoolmaster and my confidence is returning, but I was thinking that as it's only short term hopefully, if I lunged him twice a week and paid for where we are in livery to ride him once a week would that be ok for just a approx 6 week period?
All suggestions gratefully received Thanks everyone
