Just a bit of fun...Today I went and bought a couple of youngsters, whooops! Now I need to think of names before they arrive in a month or so (once gelded and recovered). Pics are below, any thoughts? Both are around 15hh, will mature to somewhere between 15.2 and 16.2 judging by their brothers. The hairier one is gypsy cob stallion x welshie/TBish mare, the other one is gypsy/tb/shire stallion x welshie/TB mare.

OH wants to call them something from Game of Thrones (!) I'm open to ideas...

Thanks everyone! Some good suggestions to go into the pot...OH will want to name them after some sort of gun or battleship but I shall be armed with alternatives :D

Enfys -they're to be gelded next month and then will come to my yard, they've never been handled/had headcollars on so lots of groundwork and basics and then broken in this Spring (they'll be 4). Depending on how big they are may keep one and sell one, or sell both!

Simon and Garfunkel/smith and jones/harry and ron/liam and noel/saint and greavsie/bart and simpson/holmes and watson/ ok STOP now!!

Patches & Harley ( from Harlequin which I thought a bit of a mouthful) - I can almost hear you calling them in!

What do you plan for them - they'd look good in a turnout!

Hmmmm.... Purdy & Wesson - Glock & Mauser - Browning & Oerlikeron, (arms) Rodney & Nelson - (King) George & Barham ( battleships - but don't forget they are all redundant )

If you want "pairs" of names how about Ant and Dec, Sausage and Mash, Thunder and Lightening, Frost and Snow, Holmes and Watson, parsley and thyme, Cain and Abel, Hale and Hearty, Morcambe and Wise, Starsky and Hutch, Rough and Tumble, Fast and Furious ... (sorry, I've had a couple of glasses of wine ...!) ...

Let us know what you come up with ...

Lots of lovely names, but maybe you'll find yourself cursing when they are a naughty duo;
Jesus and Christ spring to mind! :eek:
Oi and You :p
... you get the drift!
Anyway lovely piebald chaps, so along that theme I'd suggest Magpie (Pie) and Baldrick (Bald) lol
Cluedo and Puzzle
Atlas and Jigsaw
Patchwork and Quilt

If they are good boys, you could call them Above and Beyond (your expectations of course!)
Have fun with them! :D
