I have a problem and wondered how to deal with it!
My cob who is a well mannered horse has developed completely, for no reason I can see, a fear of the corner in the school, when I take him in he starts to prance around and keeps stareing towards the gate, now the only thing I can think of,is if there is noise's comeing from the end house which borders the school, but, is a good 300 yards away! This is strange and he is very strong, and bless him, tries to keep it together...but, you know he just wants to bolt it! This has happened when a friend took him to lunge a few weeks ago and could not get any sense out of him....and tonight when I took him down in a head collar to sort out a problem she had with her shetland who was being lunged at one end,he was not the issue here it was my cob who seemed transfixed to the gate and the corner!I have over two weeks added 'Speedibeet' to his feed(Could that be the culprit, just an idea, but has had surgarbeet before!) ,however he does not display any strong behaviour away from that corner of the school......am thinking of taking him down in his bridle tomorrow,to have more control....but, I'm at a loss here...any ideas! Thanks for reading!
