Help needed from people who pay for livery stables

Thank you to everyone who has helped! you really have been an amazing group! I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to help me, I will close the survey now as I have enough replies to help me with my unit, now to crack on with the other 9 parts haha! such a shame the other sections are nothing to do with horses :(Best wishes to you all, take care, and thanks once more! xxx:):):):):)

At the end of the task of collecting all 10 diversification options I have to write a report on findings, so I may possibly be able to attach a copy? If I can, and people are interested, then sure I'd be happy to :)

Ahh thanks Sarjay that would be great.

I think these days more and more people are using assisted livery, particuarly as Covid has played a part in this with issues caused by timeslots.

We were restricted to hour visits at the yard during two of the lockdowns so weren't able to be there either end of the day for turnout or bring in, and at a cost of £60 at the weekends for this alone before even taking into account weekday turnout/bring in and trailer parking it was getting very expensive. Luckily the YO is quite good at compromising and has been on the whole quite fair towards me.

I was also very lucky that whilst taking a bit of a hit now, last year I was able to get my horse through a 3 month stint of box rest whilst being out of work and then being furloughed twice for a total of 8 months and therefore going up twice a day which really helped with my finances with a huge cost saving in bedding and also by being able to practically eliminate turnout/bring in charges before lockdown number 3! It's swings and roundabouts I guess.
