Help, what type of lead is this...?

I have seen a few dogs with a very nice type of lead, I'd like to get one for Vin if he comes home.

Its a long leather lead, with clips inset into the lead, so I guess it could be long or short according to the clips. Very smart looking.

Anyone know what "type" of lead this is?
 
A proper training lead, every shepherd should have one:D and why not a lovely half check leather collar to match.
They are the leads I recommend to every owner who dogs I work with, cannot beat a good leather lead, esp when they are nice and worn in:D

I spotted two nice cockers (steady ladies, cockers!) wearing them the other day and I thought to myself, dagnabit, I'm going to get myself one of those spiffing leads.

And now I will. I hope people will look at me and think I am in the police. Until dumb and dumber come careering past play fighting like a bit of tumbleweed.

LOL Kitsune :) When we are out shooting there are so many black labs that if your own dog disgraces you, you can pass it off as someone elses!! I can tell you a funny story about that!!

However, having a very unusually marked springer means that he has to be perfection at all times!!!
 
Yep, good old fashioned leather training lead, as Cayla says, every home should have one.
B is on a 3m long leather lead that must be at least 20 years old.

I don't think those ones were expensive :o they do last a lifetime if you look after them properly.
 
Ditto the training leads,decent leads do last a really long time if looked after. I have a couple of leads bought at the Sieger show in Germany over 20 years ago and they are still going strong.
 
I have one - most handy:D I don't use it every day, but for days where he has to be on the lead all day it is very useful indeed!
 
PMSL - you can tell that you lot dont have a small white greyhound which chews through a leather lead in seconds whilst your back is turned......:p
