The big dog has taken to completely refusing food (was switched to raw last October and has recently started refusing). The boy was on nasty commercial food until I realised quite how bad it was:o. The pups eat anything so will stay on raw, but Brig has always been a bit fussy from being tiny. He's always refused offal but now even tripe, normally wolfed down, is being ignored.

He occasionally has Orijen (now refusing, spitting out hand fed pieces!) and Wainwright wet, which he will eat if given small amounts.

Help! I won't give him rubbish food, but he's got to eat! Any suggestions welcome (I've tried the leave it down, feed the same thing over and over, not working).

I'm really peed off cos I believe raw is best, IMO. :(

Have you tried tuna? Minced turkey/chicken/beef?

He likes tinned tuna, won't really eat pilchards/sardines in tomato sauce. He eats round turkey mince, won't touch chicken mince and refuses beef chunks/mince. He refused a pig'strotter last time he had one, but loved the one before. He has been quite keen on lumps of chicken on the bone (staple since we switched to raw) but refused tonight. He's always been extremely fussy:I switched him from dry to wet/mix when a puppy as he wasn't at all food motivated and wouldn't eat much.

Have you had him checked by the vet?

I think he's just being fussy (I hope). He's his usual lively self. If he won't eat, he will be at the vet in a big hurry. I'm paranoid mummy extraordinaire, so will be straight to the vet if I think there's an issue.
