I am in the Midlands and the horse is in Newport, Gwent. I was planning to wait until the spring but came accross this percheron x he is advertised as bombroof, weight carrier, suitable for whole family, great with novices, never put a foot wrong, good in all ways, for sale due to financial reasons, bought to teach husband to ride, husband is poorly (or lost interest)now horse getting fat, overweight. Owner sounds genuine, she has owned him for a year, bought from man whos father was a breeder, so 2 owners.
I am wondering should I take a trip to Newport at the weekend, would those of you with a keen eye take a look, All I want is bombroof happy hacker for a forever home.
(Before you ask the horse is 5 ..... I know, far too young I have read the arguments for and against.)
Wine & Chocolates for you all later.
