Really good news if its a simply operation, not the more complicated one if he was a rig.

He's so nice even as a stallion that I am sure he will be a fabulous kids pony when he has been gelded.

Do you have anyone small enough to ride him, assuming he has been broken in, to assess what he has done.

Not really and as it stands, unfortunately we don't have rider insurance. We will try as much as we can with him once he has been done and get him used to being long reined if he isn't already used to it etc.

I need to remember my camera tomorrow to update you all!

Very much an equal joint effort from everyone me thinks :)

I'm at work tonight so taking the farmer who looked after Cracker for free a nice bottle of something alcoholic for the New Year :)

That lovely, it was really good of him to keep the little lad.

I was going to go see him today but ended up bricking up a fireplace at my daughters new house :D

Will definately go tomorrow or Monday. I wonder if Cobmum went today and if there are any new pics

Don't think anyone from HHO came down yesterday, but I took some new pictures and have asked a couple of volunteers who took pictures to put them on our facebook page for anyone that wants to see him. Now to work out how to transfer my pictures....!

I will start a new thread about him which I intend to be a bit of a blog to keep anyone interested updated.

He was a very good boy yesterday, was groomed by one of our volunteers, pottered around the yard and squealed at a couple of our other ponies over stable doors. He is so dainty and very well behaved, loves his hay and is very clean in his stable...which is a blessing giving the state of some of our other ponies!

I think he has been a very much loved pony at some point.
