So, so happy this evening. Picked GreyDonkey up at lunch time. He loaded and travelled beautifully (but then he always does). Was so happy to be back in his own stable that he had a massive, snorty roll and then tucked into his haynet with gusto. I left him bandaged, rugged up and tucking into his tea. Surgeon's coming tomorrow to do a bandage change and we'll discuss his rehab in detail then.
For now, I'm just relieved to have him back . . . safe and sound. I missed the grumpy little so-and-so.
Oh, and the horse I asked you to send HHO vibes for . . . hairline fracture of the pedal bone - no surgery required, lots of box rest and bar shoes . . . phew.
