If there is sufficient interest here I will try to organise some bulk freezemarking sessions for about 2 months time in maybe four different venues. If I can get to each venue I will also do free saddle marking (leather saddles only -sorry!), I do have discounted data chips for saddles too if anybody wants them.

I am thinking one venue in the East Anglia direction, one possibly in Berkshire/Hants area, one in the Midlands and possibly one further north.

I need an idea of the level of interest, and suggested venues - the more horses at each venue, the cheaper the freezemarking, and it would be nice to have some sort of get together too.

I will also speak to admin about getting something into H&H if there is enough interest, so please help out by filling in the poll and letting me know who you are in your replies

My horse is already freezemarked but i would be very interested in getting my saddle data chipped and marked.

I'm in Surrey

I would be interested in getting my saddles done. All my horses were freeze marked last month other wise i would have had that done as well, wish i had waited now. I am in cambridgeshire.

Fantastic idea, I am definately interested, I'm in East Anglia but haven't got my own horsey transport - would be wiling to pay if anyone could offer me and Pim a lift? If not I will try to hire the box I picked him up in (maybe someone would like to share?).

2 horses needing doing (not mine though, seeing as I started the original thread don't want to be a hypocrite, my sisters 2 aren't done!)

Could possibly co-ordinate it through my riding club and use the RDA centre as a base to do it? I'd have to check it out with them of course... But its near Middlesbrough...

I'd bring 3 horses, and am just outside of Gloucester - so could do midlands or south, depending on where the venues were. I'd also have at least two saddles to be marked.
You are a star for taking this on!

FreezeMark are coming out to me.
Winston has been chosen to be one of the horses they will use for advertising because of is posh freezemark.
I think shes coming either this week or next. Plus Im having snoopy done too.

I am in Welwyn in Hertfordshire and can travel.

I am really interested in this.

My email is:natalie.tucker@spacelabs.com

Please can you keep me informed?

Thanks

I have had a chat with Freezemark today. They don't often do bulk freezemarking sessions because it is always a challenge to get several horses together in one place on the same day, the saving on bulk freezemarking is about £5 from the usual price.

They are happy to let me know about their schedules so that anybody wishing to have a horse marked can join in on a planned visit to an area, which might be easier to organise.

If you email mary@freezemark.biz she will advise of any forthcoming visits in your area. If there is sufficient interest at a big yard then I am still happy to organise something and will do tack marking.

In the interests of market fairness, the contact for Farmkey is info@farmkey.co.uk if you prefer to use them.

Right, Mary is coming on Wednesday the 29th of August at 9am, they have a photographer coming to take pics of winston and they are freeze marking snoopy too.

Let me know how many please Sue then i can let Mary know when she rings me back.

What a great idea, what sort of prices for freezemarking?

Just under £53 for one, includes registration and VAT with Freezemark, there are discounts if more than one horse is marked.
