So I really need to buy some new boots for competing in, and as we're all dressage'y now I would love some advice of what to buy!
Really want full patent, I am a lover of all things shiny
but do just want plain shiny no extra bling bits really. Now the bit I'm unsure of, is the full on dressage boot is very stiff I'm led to believe. I've never ridden in such boots, and like my flexible ones...
Are they better to ride in?
I have seen some amazing ones where they had a softer leather on the inside so you would feel more connected to the horse and like this idea.
The other thing is where can you go and try some one? I think I would feel better if I could try some on before spending so much dosh, but most local stores don't do the dressage type boots? I'm a size three and have short, fat legs (well according to boot manufacturers anyway
) so standard sizes don't always fit.
I'm happy to have made to measure and do a bit of saving up to get the perfect boots, but a little unsure where to start looking? What makes do people recommend, and where did you buy yours?
I have had a nosy on ebay as wouldn't mind second hand on account of not knowing if I will like them to ride in, but people seem to only be selling giant sizes, I can't be the only petite footed person out there
.
So HHO shopper's over to you
.
