Going to continue doing separate threads for these unless anyone can think of a better way. Anyway, here's today's one, I'm definitely going to have a bash at this - note there's an alternative suggestion for horses/riders at a lower level, this can be tweaked and swap the half passes for leg yields. might build on the LY exercise from the other day.

yeah sometimes it's really not possible to do schooling exercises when you're hacking  have you got any wider spaces? next one is corners I think which might be easier.
Well, the road is wider I guess ? 10m circle at the white line ?
I've got a lesson on Saturday at my trainers place, thinking more of working some canter walk, but we might get a crack at this

I love having separate threads! Means it's easier to work through them all one by one. Thank you!
This looks tricky...I'm yet to do the last exercise so I'll do that one tomorrow and then this on Friday with leg yield instead of half pass.

I think separate threads is good!

I'm going to do the first exercise tonight. Seem to have missed the second thread but will try that Friday and this one Saturday. Lateral work is still a WIP for us but I'll give it a stab (and will be replacing half pass with leg yield)!

Thanks. I did 1 and 2 last night when riding. They did help and I enjoyed them. Our leg yield is still quite iffy, and lots of transitions were against the hand and camel like but we did improve!

This one reminds me of a LY exercise I did ages ago, trot LY from 3/4 line to track then 10m circle inwards then when you reach the track after the circle immediately do a trot-halt transition.

Will definitely try this with leg yeild.

I need to update thread 2 actually, I wrote a post and it wouldn't submit due to the forum issues.
