The joys of smaller horses! I struggle sometimes on Topaz as she is so balanced she can just sit and turn.

Darcy is like steering a barge round at this stage, but tbf he is getting better if I just make us do some. No more babying him!

Going on the assumption that it is good to keep practicing previous weeks, I’m pleased with my boy tonight as we managed this in trot. Only did one circle each spot, rather than two, but he only really got confident with 10m circles in trot this past month. So I’m pleased with progress.
It may be some time before we can attempt canter though!
