Hi, I've been meaning to say hello for a while - just plucked up courage!
I have 1 horse. a 16h tb x fell gelding called Hullabaloo (Boo) because of the amount of noise he makes, 6 cats and a very understanding non-horsey OH. We haven't got out much lately as Boo had a mild tendon strain last year, but enjoy local shows and hunter trials. I was hoping to be out and about again by now but he's feeling the hard ground so we're still taking it easy (he is the world's biggest wimp!).
Will attempt to post some photos when I get round to working our how to do it!
I've been lurking in the background for a while and picked up some very useful advice from you all, and hopefully will get lots more!

Hello and welcome!

Live in Wiltshire. Our hacking in on Salisbury plain so have had a couple of run-ins with the army when hacking

Mind you, never have to worry about the horses on bonfire night - think he is now literally bombproof! The killer pigeons that live up the road are far more scary than the british army!

Welcome to you! Everyone is pretty friendly on here so don't be scared!
I have 1 horse and 3 cats. Think if I got anymore OH would throw a fit!!
Take care and welcome again

my grandmother used to live in the village of Easton Grey (near Malmesbury) until the end of the war! She moved north but still has her Wilts accent, boy!

I'm from Scotland originally (many years ago) and hopeless at accents so have never managed a proper wiltshire accent. Still give it another 20 years or so ....

Hi and welcome, hope you enjoy the forum - there is such a wealth of information here.

I have 2 horses and 3 cats - great combination - one takes a lot of time to look after and the other doesn't.
