hello,
we recently rescued a 16 year old haflinger mare. I don't know nothing about her past ,however she had an eye injury that can't be fixed anymore so she is scheduled for surgery to be taken out. her eye injury is on the right side. I lately noticed also that she always resting her right hind leg all the way out backward, I will attach a picture. in the picture is not as extreme as she normally does it. what could be the reason for this? the previous owner also told me that she didn't noticed the horse doing it much in the summer.. we have very cold wyoming winters and she does it on a daily basis when resting...
