I still haven't managed to get my showing jacket yet but plan to go shopping on friday
on sunday i lent a friends hacking jacket and wore beige jods, black boots and cream gloves (i didn't like the gloves so much, they didn't look right) i felt as though i was more dressed for a days hunting TBH. I was going to go for a shires huntington coat in green check but looking back at sundays pics i didn't like the overall look on me, even though pictures i have seen with everyone else in it looked smart
so with this in mind i am thinking of getting a smart navy blue jacket.
I have quite a big show coming up next Thursday and i am doing 2 dressage prelim classes and some SJ. If i go for the navy option would white jods look okay with white shirt and stock, black boots and a navy velvet riding hat - also can anyone recommend a nice pair of gloves in a suitable colour to wear?
I want to look smart and not out of place
as i say its quite a biggy round here
Thanks: here is us in the tweed on sunday
