Hi all, having done a quick search but threads were old, thought I'd post anew.
Having contacted a lady about a horse for sale; in short a 17.3hh 8yo TB gelding. She mentioned he has a sarcoid which is being treated with some success she tells me.
Since doing a spot of research with his racing name I've found he was sold at auction relatively recently where it mentions he is hobdayed in the catalogue. Now on its own after reading up this doesn't seem to put everyone off but I am a little unnerved by the fact she hasn't mentioned this to me after enquiring about any past medical history and only mentioned the (outwardly obvious) sarcoid. I would also like my next horse for hunting, xc, showing and wonder if it would affect him negatively?
Personally I am now tempted to walk away as I wasn't particularly ecstatic over the sarcoid but this aswell has made me a little cautious, any thoughts of wisdom?
