When i had Bailey pts I started seriously looking for another horse after about 3 weeks. The y.o was sharing her horses stable with another livery (one out at night/one in during day) so used my empty stable to house her horse which helped us both and I was very grateful.
I started paying for my stable about 3 weeks b4 I bought Lari which was 4.5 months after losing Bailey by which time the stabling situation was sorted and the y.o horse was back in its own stable. It took a long time to find another horse because there were 4 or 5 buyers for every horse for sale due to increased buyers and lockdown/covid.
When/if Lari goes in April I would be happy to pay the livery rate until such time I got another horse as I love my stable so much. I don't think it would take 4 months this time round to get another but if it does it does and I'd be happy to pay.
