Hiya! I was planning on the second coat yesterday but ended up bathing him without thinking so he was soaked, I'm going to have time tomorrow so will get it done then.
I'll be honest at this point he is much the same but Gloi have given me some reassurance that as the lady told you it gets better over time helping the sole to toughen up so I'm still hopeful and its really easy to do.
Its strange stuff and does actually feel quite warm through the gloves as you spread it.

Do you think hood armour has made that difference?
I wouldn’t imagine my pony has ever had shoes either. He’s 30 and I can’t imagine anyone hating their child enough for him to have ever been sat on! (He’s only 11.2!)
Definitely. It's certainly changed the number of miles he can do without boots and he's a lot less sensitive to standing on stones, even at canter.it keeps the little stones out of the white line too.
