Hoof boots for narrow hooves?

I have decided to try going barefoot with my IDx, he is 17 this year, he has had shoes for all his ridden life (bought him at 4 years old already backed and shod). I took the hinds off about 2 years ago and he didn't seem to notice (they look better than ever), so this winter I took the fronts off too (he usually takes them off himself in the mud anyway :p ).
The sudden hard ground has left him occasionally feeling his feet, especially where it is still a bit rutted from the winter (absolutely fine on the roads). Farrier is not concerned, says they are hardening up nicely, but I would like to start doing more work with him now the weather is finally looking better, and a lot of our hacking routes are stoney ground, so I was thinking of trying him in some hoof boots.
I have been looking at sizing guides for different makes, but nothing seems to be exactly right. His feet are quite long and narrow, and he's lost some hoof wall to the inside, which makes them measure up even narrower!
Does anyone have any recommendations for brands of hoof boots that are good for narrow feet? Or is there some padding I could use to stop the boots turning while he is wearing them?
I saw the cavallo entry level boots width sizing is stated as 'up to' a certain width, so would this be good?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long post!

You need to email Liz at the hoof boutique, take some photos and email them over to her, she is brilliant and will advise what boots wil fit best. Just from experience with the Cavallo simples (which I was told are the same shape as the entry level boots) I had them for my previous mare and her Hooves weren't particularly slim or wide but when we tried them on my friend's WB who had much narrower hooves they drowned his feet. Liz got him into Cavallo sports boots and you can buy them individually to get the best fit for each hoof (my friend's WB had two mismatched front feet, one narrow and one boxy!). If you Google the Cavallo ELB, simple and sport you will see the different shape however, Liz will be able to get you sorted straight away I am sure, I and many have used her for a long time and she's very good at matching boots to "feet".

Sorry, Cavallo trek boots just googled pics, not the sports boot. The trek comes in two width fitting, standard and slim.

Thanks Ruby's mum, I have emailed her previously (when he first went barefoot), but she said his hooves needed to change shape, and they still haven't. She suggested a pair of boots that according to the fitting guide would be too small for his feet, and I didn't really want to take the chance with an expensive pair! That's why I thought I would see if anyone else had any similar experiences before biting the bullet!
I will take a look at the Cavallos :)

the cavallo elb comes in standard and slim fitting too. one of mine has narrow-ish hooves and the elb slim fits well. I've got second hand sport boots on his hind feet and they fit ok too. I think he's slightly too big for size 1s but the size 2 is a bit big. However, I just use a pastern wrap to prevent rubbing and he manages fine.
