I think the "wary of the farrier" reads as "nightmare to shoe", and that combined with the "needs time to build trust" from a pro suggests the horse is pretty nervous and maybe a bit quirky/complicated.
To much money for a 14yo TB but might be worth a look if AE’s friend is very light .
I don’t like the lack of muscle in the wither area and at 14 that s unlikely to come good easily .
I would want a good vet over the horse like a rash .
