My parents aren't far from Bovey and I'll be visiting that day but don't think I can swerve a get-together with relatives visiting from abroad by heading for a car boot sale- I would definitely prefer it but it may not be worth the consequences

Horsey car boot very successful, only sold one item over £20 (at £50) but cleared £248! Chuffed with that!

Ha I was at this sale today too! Selling with a friend, I bought more than I was selling but they were things I had intended on hunting down!

I was there on my own so didn’t leave my stand (and there is nothing I need for my retirees anyway). Luckily it was only 10 minutes from home for me but I still didn’t get there until after 11!

I did mine this evening and made £160 profit. I had far too stuff much really. The pitches were smaller than normal and it wasn’t a great spot, but I’m pleased that about half of the rugs sold.

I still have a couple of riser pads and some hoof boots which I will put on ebay and the rest i’ll do the next one with. What’s left is probably about the right amount to start with. ?
