Hiya peeps,

I see all the feathers on gypsy vanners and shires etc i was just wondering how do people look after that amount of feather??? eg mud and that
 
tbh I don't really do anything with them. She gets mud away spray on once or twice a week if I remember, otherwise they do the job of protecting her legs so I leave them alone.
If we are showing then I wash and chalk but otherwise they actually take less time than friend's clean legged types take as I don't have to worry about drying and protecting her skin.

Fair enough but it wasn't that poster and for a tough little fighter mare with spirit the name of a Greek fighter goddess was obv. It just struck me as a coincidence that that that name sprung up, with the topic of frathers:D and you two both posted although I can see with ops name that RB would jump on the thread. If you look I didn't even necessarily say it was you. Tbh as I said I've never cared who RB is or isn't And have defended against some pretty pathetic and judgemental posts against him. Again, couldn't give w damn about who the hell did or didn't start this thread, have far more on my plate than how to keep feathers clean and ŵho actually asked in the first place.

In answer to question... Clip them off:D

Edited to say that this doesn't appear to be as damning as it first suggested and therefore i am an idiot BUt at least I'm not a troll :)

considering every pop you have is either at me or riley you must be the troll always looking for a rise in everything, find ur self a new hobby you aint no good a troll hunting are ya........:D

Please forgive me but I haven't mentioned your name ever. At least I don't think I have, not once...... Unless I was drunk, but I don't drink. I definitely haven't ever, ever mentioned your name. Except on this thread...

I think you must have me confused, perhaps with someone else who also has a coloured cob in their avatar? As far as I know I haven't commented on a thread about trotters, or mentioned you in any way.

The thread wasn't about trotters, it did mention them which I pointed out. Nowhere did I mention you, anything about you, your horses, your practices. Hence why I was confused when you said I had talked about YOU on a thread ABOUT trotters. I didn't talk about you and the THREAD wasn't about trotters. My post mentioned trotters. Are we all clear or are you still insisting that I have made a comment about you somewhere or had a pop as you seemed to suggest?

You do know the difference between a thread and a post and when someone mentions you by name or doesn't I take it?

Thank you but you don't need to take my word. I can't imagine why you have thought I have ever said anything about you when I clearly haven't.

You don't need to take my word, you can take the fact that there is no evidence to prove what you are saying.

Feathers? Leave them be , Give them a wash in summer, but in winter just leave them ! ;)

That is what the thread was about, yes?
