Ok! It's time. The hunt is on,

14.3-15.3
5-11 y/o
Connie or Connie X
Easy going all rounder to get me going again.
Don’t mind travelling 3/4hours from Lincoln.
And budget of around 10K.

But all of the above is flexible.
 
Keep an eye out for all the Clifden Connies about to be flipped!

Have to say though that for the nicer Connies they are reaching very ££ at the moment. Most I have enquired about have started at 10k. And I'm looking for young, just backed etc! :o

I've already seen them start filtering through. Not too fussed about it being full connie, i prefer them a little finer anyway! So fingers crossed something comes up! My ideal would be a Connie X TB if I were being picky! 😬😬
 
Do you mind grey? Mare or gelding?

There are some sweet connemaras on horsequest at the moment, in budget (why are the cheaper than the unbroken ones? I can't make sense of that).

Don't mind mare or gelding!
not too fussed on colour, Melanomas worry me with Greys but willing to view.

302549 - Really like the look of her! Anyone heard of Verdi Sports horses? good or bad?
303311 - I'm always put off when i see men riding smaller horses - not sure why! Just presume they're on for a reason.
303022 - Keep being drawn to her! Have messaged for videos.

Re: men riding smaller horses - I think sometimes it's just a dealer thing: they are a man therefore have to ride anything as long as it's not too small. This wouldn't bother me unless I felt the horse wasn't controllable by a small female.

302549 - what a pretty horse. I don't like the look of the ridden pics very much but that may be the rider.
 
I would think you would be better phoning any you like the look of as people get loads of messages when they put horses up for sale and you might miss out.
 
302549. Is a little straight in the hock for me, as for the riding , it was nice to see a 5 year old not pulled into a shape but she is quite downhill and that doesn’t inspire me. I also wouldn’t worry about a man riding but would like to see a side on conformation picture of that one
 
I enquired about 302549 and had to chase twice to get a two word response to confirm she was available, i then called, left a voicemail saying I'd like to view and never got a call back. Did some research and Verdi's warranty is 14 day return, when legally you should have 30 days. So that put me off. Likewise I wasn't completely convinced she looks happy in her ridden videos so decided this one isn't for me. i'm not going to chase someone so I can give them nearly 10k lol, they should want it!

There's a few adverts that I've shown my husband, he's gone nuts that people want us to spend 10K on a horse and they've written 3 sentences and posted 1 photo over the stable door! 😂 😂

Yep and so far every horse (apart from this particular one ironically) I've enquired about since has been sold within 5 days or less of posting! Madness. I don't enjoy horse shopping nearly as much as I thought I would 😅
 
The Dun connie x in sherburn in elmet I went to view lovely horse, nice lady selling him just wasn't for me. Questioning whether or not to buy at all with financial situation at the moment.

That is always the way!! Saw a lovely dressage pony the other day - its sold now! But it seems we always see what we don't want!

Shes not sound and shes showing very clear pain face fairly often. Lucky escape I reckon!
 
The other one I enquired about isn’t suitable - the owner was honest and said she didn’t think it would be!
So back to the drawing board
