Hi all,
My wonderful boy is having an op tomorrow. Its just been one thing after another in the year I have owned him but we'll get there in the end I'm sure!
What I wanted to know is has anyone had experience of schirrous cord? Basically a result of a botched gelding.
If so how long did they stay in for after the op and how long were they off work for?
Seriously starting to worry now as so many people have said its so dangerous for horses to have a general anaesthetic, but I keep telling myself he's young and fit so will be just fine.
Then there's the problem of his play mate! He hates being left and constantly box walks if in and whinnies and fence walks if out.
Many thanks in advance
