Horse Insurance, A couple of Questions?

I think I may have found a horse for the summer (Yipppeeee

), I am going to try him on Wednesday and hopefully all being well he will be with me until September.

The owner has mentioned about us insuring him whilst he is with us, I don't have a problem with this but

A. Will I find an insurance company that will insure us for only two months?

And B. He is about 16 years old, will I be able to find a company to insure him being the age that he is?

Petplan will insure him as will NFU

Pay by the month and then cancel when he goes back.

Cant you just transfer his exisiting policy over to you for the period you have him? Or pay the installments to the owner?

I don't think he is insured at the moment, she just thinks it will be best if he is whilst staying with me.
