So relieved. Often these things don't end well and that poor woman will have had a night from hell !
If this was mine ,.for added excitement he wouldn't allow a stranger anywhere near him ! He's very well versed in stranger danger lol !

Very glad he's been found, what a stressful ordeal for all!
Can't help but think he could have done with a few more days on the sparse forage of the Forest to drop a few lbs! He's a chunky boy 🤣

Ouch!! I think that's a bit mean considering the poor lady could easily read this, and I think she's suffered enough stress over the past 24 hours.

So pleased he has been found, especially given the potential dangers a non forest horse would never have experienced.

Totally unnecessary. Just as those who chose to comment on the original post arguing over drone laws or asking if the girl was hunting. With respect, time and place springs to mind for those discussions and a post from a distraught owner missing their precious horse is not it!

God this forum is up tight sometimes. Can't make a small joke just in case someone, who has since found their horse uninjured and is on the way home all fine and dandy, might see it on a small forum that they have likely never been on. God forbid!

I'm also not judging owner, nor have I made any personal remarks, several photos of horse have been posted throughout Facebook to go on if you want to be pernickety. It's a semi-lighthearted offhand remark, smite me down for I have sinned!

That’s great!!!!
The poor owner.. that must’ve been some ordeal… I would’ve been a total wreak by now.. my biggest fear would be the horse putting its foot thru a cattle grid and breaking the leg.. thank god this horse is safe!!

Yes very lucky there were no cattle grids by where it was found and that she had the help from those guys who knew the forest so well ( in reply 22 copied from Faceache.)

This is what i like about the British. What with all the disconnect in government, the war and fighting, the energy and cost of living crisis, and all the other issues we fight on a daily basis as this country is slowly and painfully brought to its knees that we are still come together in a moment of crisis to help our fellow man out.

It's moving to see. 🇬🇧
