I know a warmblood... A stunning one at that - called.... Sponge.
Many many years ago whilst a college we had some great names: donella, flump, columbus, midget, allegra and sausage to name a few!
My mare was Alice when she was little but previous owners changed it to daisy
My friend's OH have recently bought a horse called Grandma!

And the strangest, BB, short for Bantry Bay. Why would anyone call a horse Bantry Bay? He was a lovely horse.
Going to get abuse now but I personally hate the name Bob the Cob, why on earth is every second cob called bob
I am not a fan of human names for animals although babies now a days seem to take on animal names so why not the other way round
Seaweed was the name of the polo pony I once rode!
I once nearly went to view a horse called The Nobster, or Nobby for short! The breeders teenage son had named it apparently. ..
Boy isn't really a new animal name. Prince Rupert had a big hunting dog called Boye or Boy who was a sort of figurehead in the royalist side of the Civil War - they thought he had supernatural powers! Before he was killed at Marston Moor, that is![]()
