Horse Search Help

Sadly it is looking like I will have to have my 22 year old mare PTS soon, she's been retired due to various issues for almost 5 years now, and it seems storm Eunice has really aggravated one of those issues. The problem is my other horse, an 11 year old gelding really loves having company in his field with him, is not an individual turnout kind of horse. Spent 6 months when I first go him trying to keep him in his paddock until letting my 2 in together.

This means I will need to get another 2nd horse quite quickly to fill her void, but I have only been horse shopping once for the aforementioned gelding 5/6 years ago and ended up having to travel to Ireland to find him after 9 months, and I am feeling lost, stressed out about the whole scenario, especially as any horse will be with me for life, and in the 5 years I've had him my gelding is now uninsurable due to multiple issues. So Please would anyone like to help me find a sane & sound horse?

2-5 yrs
Gelding
Kind, sensible temperament
Not Grey
Sports horse type
15 -16hh max.
Budget - under 10k
