I've just had a quote for horsebox insurance and, during the discussion, it came up that the insurance is only valid while the box is being used as a horsebox. So, if I used the van to lug heavy stuff to the tip or to move house, the insurance wouldn't be valid.
Is this normal? If it is normal, are people aware? Because I know quite a few people who've used their horseboxes while moving house, and I strongly suspect they wouldn't have done if they'd known they weren't insured.
