very very true, it does however mean you can be miserable in comfort.
very bizzare case though.
Just Horrible, no consolation to anyone related to this poor family, or indeed all of us who can't believe anyone can do this to the poor horses and dogs but at least it would have been a quicker ending for them.
Now I don't wish to speculate or cause offence, but this kind of looks like some contract job or poss related to some sort of drug gang? Just a thought that occured earlier...could be completely off track
Re: why burning instead of just shooting - burning is total. It's like a whole complete destruction. I mean if you really wanted to wipe your existence off the map - then burning everyhting would do the job.
Exactly what I said... if you have a problem with people fine but let the animals out of their stables before torching the place... just horrible! I can only hope that the family are still alive! What sort of people would do such a thing! :-( It's all very sad.
Some people don't trust anyone to look after their animals and leave it in their will that all pets are destroyed on their death , maybe he thought he would do it himself , then he knows it is all over . Must have lost his mind or be the most selfish man ever
Ports are on watch so they would have a time of it getting away!
- Im not sure what to think - but im gonna say - I think he did it.. - Shot wife & daughter &horses and dogs - dowsed the place in fuel - drove lorry out into drive - slashed tyres (how many arsonists know where the horse box keys are kept?) set the place on fire either with him in it or perhaps he legged it leaving his family to burn? Its awful but hitman jobs like that excist in hollywood films - not quiet shropshire...
In one of the papers it said that even the guinea pigs had been killed, now how many hitmen would go out of their way to kill a guinea pig? I read somewhere that the family had ducks and hens too. Its just to horrible to think about.
I'm inclined to agree. Very very sad but financial ruin can do terrible things to people.
I think (speculation of course) that he shot the animals and his family & then burned everything - sort of an 'if I can't have it then nobody else will' scenario. By all accounts the family were very attached to the house and would not have wanted it to be reposessed. Shooting the animals is the 'kindest' way of despatching them - hopefully they would not have suffered in the fire.
I would be very surprised if the family's remains are not in the house. Deepest condolances to the rest of teh family and friends. what a devastating situation.
I'm afraid the human cost may make this a great deal more tragic. If this was done by a family member then the state of despair that they must have been in is horrifying.
I have missed all of this. What an utterly tragic end to the family. What a complete and utter f'ing bastard of a man to do that to his family - I am sure we all agree that the wife and daughter would have preferred to live in a less flamboyant way than be shot - miserable, selfish bastard, why could he not just have finished himself off
I just cannot put into words how utterly angry I am that men think they have the right to do these things.
jumping to conclusions is not really helpful. I am waiting until the full investigations conclude. No guarantee it wasn't done by someone else and they won't find more bodies.
