A friend of mine had a gorgeous eventer, who had Duck as his registered name. Apparently, the previous owners put it down as a second name, as they assumed the first one wouldn't be taken. I also rode a pony called Mungy! It was short for Maungamera Silver Shadow (he was swiftly renamed Smartie...).

Someone, unfortunately, got the perfect name for my boy, who is prone to extreme tantrums when asked to do something he doesn't want to do. His registered name is Retaliate

My Horses have been OK but when I was involved in dog rescue we had one poor little wait arrive in and he was called, I joke not, Sh#tArs# The husband hated him and always had, hence the name. We renamed his ''Skek" and once he was in a loving home he was a different dog, went from a nervous heap to a bouncy, happy lad.
