what do u put on your horse in one if anything
how long do they go on for
sorry if numpty questions

Horsewalkers are brilliant pieces of equipment that helps improve your horses fitness - but does not replace ridden exercise ! ) Handy to use while mucking out, warming up horse, cooling down after work, drying off and keeping warm after a bath.

Get the YO to show you how to correctly load and unload the horses (she should do this as a matter of course but never the less ask first! ) Always leave a headcollar on so that in the event of an accident you have a safety equipment in place. Clip / leave leadrope close by. A Lightweight sheet if horse is clipped is ok or you can get proper exercise waterproof rugs with cut away front legs - expensive but are good.
If warm enough load on naked and makesure that you always turn them so that they do not always walk around on the same rein! My horses are quite fit and do 20 mins each way three times a week. By the time you have mucked out and put up haynet your horse should be about ready to come off ! Remember to not put on straight after feeding.

Once you have got used to it you'll wnder how you managed without one !!
