Anyone know the sizing of Rhino and Rambo neck covers? As per usual my ponies are between sizes and I don't know if the necks are true to size, big or small. Used a Derby House medium once and it almost came over 14.1 pony's eyes when she grazed, so not sure if small or medium in Horseware (5'6 to 5'9 in rugs). Thanks for any opinions

Thanks for that but I really meant the neck covers that are bought separately to be attached to a standard style rug. They come in S, M, L etc. Medium is the size recommended for my rug but might need a small. Anyone got any experience of them. Thanks

My mare wears a 6'3 and her supreme came with a medium size neck cover. I thought it was a touch small for her so bought a large.
She's a cob x wb if that helps at all ;)

I had to get my 14hh cob a large horseware neck cover to fit his rambo duo as the one that came with it (5'9 rug) was far too small so he's got a large neck cover (would fit a 6'6 rug)

I've always found that horsewear neck rugs come up small- have always had to buy the next size up from the one that comes with the rug... think the 5'9 rug I bought came with a medium neck and I had to buy a large... and the horse wasn't particularly chunky or long in the neck!

Hope that helps!

I have a 14.2 welsh D- he wears 5'9 bucas and 5'9 rhino rugs both with small neck covers- they always come with medium as standard so I always have to make a point of asking for a small instead.

Thanks for the replies although it seems some fit large and some small. I have found my latest Horseware rug to be roomier than previous ones so perhaps they are being a bit more generous. My pony doesn't have a very long neck but she's not skinny either so that's my dilemma over the sizing. Will have to toss a coin but at least a neck cover is easily sent back if I make the wrong decision.
