Horsey things that have made you smile this week?

I rescued a 10month old shetland 7weeks ago, she was skin and bones, could hardly stand and we didn't think she would survive when she first came. She wasn't handled and very nervous,
This was her in the school yesterday

I missed it has nah bought ned or have I mixed up my hho ers? Similar my best mate got a pony on loan for her little girl. It's the priceless honest sort. Made me smile earlier when kiddo politely but firmly told mum 'she is my pony mum so I would like to put her to bed but thanku' B-)
 
Gaining a very beautiful 15.1hh cobby on loan yesterday..
Went out on an hour hack today (just in walk) all by myself!... But about a 2 months ago I would shake about even tacking one up!

Shettie is such a cutie and the babies - aahhh so beautiful...:D

My lad was diamond today - he looked after my mates 8 year old daughter today - she'd never met a horse/pony and never ridden so much as a donkey - he behaved himself in the stable whilst she brushed him and was on his best behaviour whilst we went out for a lead-out - she was soo happy she wants to learn to ride :D:D:D:D - fortunately boyo's liveried at a riding school so i'll get to see her learn on one of the riding school ponies...:)

Once my mate and his beautiful young lady left us - I went out for hack with boyo and our friends - inc. a lovely hunter and my little fella - all 14hh of him out paced his hunter buddy to the surprise of his mum. :D:D:D Joy of ponio's :D:D:D
 
I haven't seen my horse for over a week :( as spent last weekend in hospital before bringing home our newborn son he is one week old today). Friend has been looking after him and only horsey thing I've heard to make me smile was a text to say G is fine and well but she thinks he is missing me a bit...

Can't wait to get baby up to meet his equine friends!!

Ned lead the ride today! He only had one big spook!...at some ducks :P

The thing that made me smile the most this week, would definitely be how whenever my filly sees me she now gallops to me, or runs alongside me if I'm walking along her field. She now lets me catch her perfectly, without a fight anymore, and always calls me :)

Considering it was only last week she'd run off if I tried to catch her, or she'd run the other way everytime I went into her field, I'm pretty chuffed!
