I want to try hot clothing to see if that helps keep them cleaner this winter, but have had various suggestions of what to use in the hot water from cooking oil, baby oil, dettol and bleach!?!?

(I definitely won’t be using bleach)

any suggestions of which of these is best and why?

My horses love hot clothing I use really hot water and wear rubber gloves, my method is an old flannel really hot water only a few inches in bucket is enough, I like a tiny bit of lavender rinse or a really tiny bit of baby oil, but just really hot water can sometimes be enough, and just rub them all over with the hot flannel they love it.

They both love a bath (Especially the mare) and tail wash so hopefully they’ll enjoy this too.
