Pen, last night, decided the door at the bottom of the stairs needed some work and has chewed the corner off. She hasn't been in her crate for over 2 weeks and I really don't want to put her back in it.
Would Colmans English mustard powder put on the chewed bit be both fair and effective?

I went through the larder thinking 'What wouldn't a labrador eat'. That was the only thing I came up with!

I could do with some clean doors, I can usdually ignore the mud spray patterns...
Bitter apple sounds good too, but WUL easier to obtain!

TBH my house is so shabby no one is going to notice a chewed door. The ceiling is falling down in the same room, so a chew mark is fairly inconspicious by comparison.
Those metal corners would probably be overkill.
She cleared the kitchen table last night, so mousetraps going on it tonight!

My Dad tried it with his Lab, many years ago - the dog really enjoyed it! When my Lab started on the door to the basement, where her bed was while I was out, we decided to line with metal, as the only thing which would stop her.

There really isn't much that a Lab won't eat!

I am not going to put her back in, she can no longer lie full length in it and I don't want to get a bigger one. No chewing since that night, so I would guess she doesn't like mustard!

I reckon this is the most random addition to an old thread that olivertwist has made so far in their short history on HHO. :rolleyes3:
