I have an 8 month old Jack Russell puppy who is brilliant in every way except he just can't get the hang of toilet training.
When we are not at home (and overnight) he goes in his crate and there are no accidents. As soon as he is let out of crate I take him straight outside.
When we are home he is allowed out and 'supervised' in the house. Ever since we got him home we have taken him outside as soon as he starts to circle, sniff, squat etc and he does go toilet outside, but he still trys to go inside.
It is though he does not understand inside from outside...but i'm not sure why ? How do you train them to ask to go out?
I'm not sure what I have done wrong as I thought by the age of 8 months he should of got the hang of it by now?!! Help!!
