I've been dog sitting our friends Munsterlander while they had a nice Easter break. He's great fun, but pretty hyper and needs lots of exercise, that's OK though as we have a Cocker so it's like the little and large show when I go running with my two spotty dogs.
Anyway I'd agreed to return him on my way to work this morning so took them for my usual morning run round the fields first thing. It wasn't until I got them home that I noticed the huge flap of skin hanging off the top of Billys leg
It was a big triangle and you could see blood vessels and muscle but luckily nothing appeared torn other than the skin.
Cleaned and dressed the wound and returned him to his owners apologising profusely, they were very good and said that's just typical for him and they'd take him to be stitched up. But have just had a phone call to see if he's had his breakfast as he needs a general anaesthetic!!. So please some healing vibes for Billy, I know he'll be OK, just wish he hadn't done it an hour before going home.......
