Sweet pony - may I ask if there is any particular reason you've got a grackle noseband on him?
HelloI was the one lunging little fat pony.
H (lizzie's brother) was with me so I could explain to him what mouse was doing as he was riding Mouse afterwards. I usually wouldn't have people with me.
CC is good so farnot the ideal place to lunge but, as Lizzie said, we didn't want to trash the rest of the field!!
You're doing really well. As Alice said try not to lean forward and you will be more secure if the pony plays up.![]()
What's the back story? The pony looks rather green, so not the easiest if the intention is for the OP to work on her position... I agree with the previous comments about tipping forward and lower leg slipping back - work without stirrups and reins would do the world of good, though as I say, not the easiest if the pony's going to be a twit![]()
This is a vid I took a few months ago. It's shocking quality. Lunging and filming at the same time is not easy!!!
It's on a flatter part of the field. One of the first times Liz had ridden mouse and I took her reins and stirrups away. A bit tense in the leg but much more upright

You seem to be tipping forwards quite a bit. My RI told me to imagine a straight line from head, shoulder, hip and heel. So try thatYou also seem to be carrying your hands low. Lift your hands next time
You actually rode better (I think anyway) in the second video, you seem to be sitting up taller and have a better seat.
Sweet Pony, looks like a cheeky chappy though!
