This, all day, so if it has to happen for some reason, in an emergency, the dog's world will not fall apart.

been browsing pets4homes and found a really cute rough coated bitch puppy in alfreton, derbyshire, anywhere near you?
I was looking for a Lab on this site but after I stopped because of fears about breeders and puppy farming, I'm sure reputable people are on that site as well but be carefeulbeen browsing pets4homes and found a really cute rough coated bitch puppy in alfreton, derbyshire, anywhere near you?
I was all set to view a pup tomorrow but the vendor wouldn’t give out their address ‘for security reasons’, I was supposed to meet them at a supermarket and follow them home.
Hmm. Passed on that.
We’re bringing her home nowAm instead viewing a 3yo JRT bitch tomorrow, spayed, vaccinated. Sounds genuine, I hope.
So dodgy sounding!
We’re bringing her home now. Lovely and lively.

why do you say that as a matter of interest? As I explained in my post, I can entirely understand people doing that with certain breeds- in my case the dogs were very well bred working lurchers and the breeder didn’t want to attract individuals from the travelling community to his house
1 There was another viewing for the older one, a smooth coated bitch (age 9) booked for later today. How on earth did you leave her companion there?
I'm pleased for both you and her that she has found a good new home. She looks lovely!
How on earth did you leave her companion there?
How old was the companion? 😟😟

Bless-you 💓 💓 💓If there had been a sob story about the companion, I’d have brought her home anyway! As it is, I think she should be ok to rehome, as she’s calm and easy. But I will check that it’s all worked out and if necessary go back for her!
Completely agree Lev. If I bred a litter( I wouldn't, all that work and mess ) I wouldn't give my address to anyone. Whole litters are stolen now and it would be a huge risk.
I’m delighted you got her, OP! We managed a fortnight between losing one and getting pups. We were both looking at the same litter, weird, given the common breed.
I agree, there’s a risk (I’ve heard of whole litters being stolen not far from me) but then how would a genuine buyer visit the litter? How do people come to see/choose/pick up a pup? I suppose meeting them in advance away from the property is an idea, but if I’m buying a pup, I want to see it first before deciding to go ahead. Plus, to avoid puppy farmers, you’re told not to meet breeders and collect/pay for pups away from the home environment without seeing the mother/rest of the litter.
