It seems to take them forever, yet BE records are updated pretty much on competition day. And then I find when they have updated it, it's wrong. I have to email them monthly. I mean really ??
I've waited well over a month in the past! Oh and also don't expect all the results from one comp (or even one class) to all go up at the same time. Also look out for duplications, incorrect results and wrong horse / rider on there...
But why are they like this? If other organisations ran things the same there would be uproar. It's just so disheartening when we are all paying customers but receive such poor service. I do what I do on a shoe string, have to save up for my membership and can only afford one competition a month as classes are so pricey. I suppose I just feel a bit let down by them. I should add that when I phone them I usually (not always) find them to be perfectly helpful, so this isn't a dig at the staff as individuals, just a general grumble at the organisation (or lack of ?)
That's the million dollar question. Like you, I've found the staff incredibly helpful.
There are a few threads on the BD website forum about the new IT system / website, it seems they've had major issues with their supplier (and, presumably, very poor contract writing with said supplier to begin with).
Over the years I don't think I have ever had any added in under 2 weeks and some have been up to 2 months, not that it matters to me much but is a shockingly slow system!
