How long does it take you to travel to the yard?

I'm quite lucky that my new place is on my way to work (only 1 mile out of my way) so on the days I'm in the office I can be DIY. The days I'm not in the office they turn her out for me - I'm a total control freak so it was hard to adjust to not seeing her a couple of mornings a week but it seems like such a fab place, its worth it :) I sympathise though, I think I'd find it hard to go to full livery.:(

That sounds like a good set up.

Yeah I think I am same, but only realised after moving on to full livery. I've always been on DIY, so it feels strange. Never thought I would actually miss mucking out

About a minute, to include pulling my wellies on at the back door! They're both at home! However, soon moving them to livery so will take 15 mins on a good run and about 25 mins if hit the traffic!

It is precisely 4.5 miles of quite winding Cornish lanes so 10 minutes, maybe a little bit more in summer because of holiday makers sitting in their cars in the lanes trying to read maps.

About 5 minutes drive, 10 minutes walk (if going at a fast-ish pace)

not a great distance, but would still love for my boy to be at home. That's the dream :D

Keep her at home at the moment but stock soon to be put into fields on the farm so we are moving to a livery yard with good hacking, school etc. Nice to have her home in the winter though.
