How many at your yard?

At my current yard there are 90 horses (including grass only) but in a couple of weeks I'm moving my horse to a yard of 20 - so it's a lot smaller! Hopefully he'll make friends!

Current yard, 8 horses and 6 owners. Last yard about 80 horses with around 50 owners.
I quite miss the old yard, there was always someone to ride with and a wealth of different experience and approaches.
Current yard is lovely too but much quieter.

15 horses which includes the YO's 2 horses, there is only myself with 2 horses on the yard, so 14 owners (which includes the YO). It's just a nice size, nice and quiet but with people around most of the time.

I think there are about 15-16 owners, but many have more than one horse. The yard owner also breeds and so with her stallions there are probably 40 horses. The YO also has a farm nearby, where she keeps the rest of the stallions and the brood mares....pus there is all the yearlings and young horses...I bet between the farm and livery yard there has got to be in excess of 60-70 horses!!!

It never feels cramped though...the livery yard is a big 'higgledy piggledy' with some in barns, some on rows of boxes and the odd stable in old buildings...plus, we dont rally see much of the other horses/youngstock/broodmares so it doesn't feel too manic. It is sometimes a fight to get into the school on a busy day though...and the car park!!

My yard isn't really a yard as such, it's a small farm that's no longer a working farm due to the age of the owner. There are eight horses/ ponies there, three belong to the YO (two are retired and she has someone ride the other) three people have a horse each (one of these is retired) and the final two belong to me. It's very quiet and I have a little yard all to myself!
