How many at your yard?

I used to go from college with 230 horses :eek: ! 100 belonging to students the rest staff and college horses. Went from that to home some weekends with just my few bobbos, was a right shock! luckily my mare couldn't care less where she was so long as she was fed! :D. Now yard is just me and my 5 :)
 
Me, another girl and YO. It's a stud so about 30 horses in total. Love it. Nothing goes missing, no queuing for the school / horse walker and no bitching.
 
Just me and my three at home! I'm amazed at the size of some of the yards mentioned here - I like going down the bottom of the garden to see the geegees in my jimjams and no makeup, might scare people on a big yard :D
 
in my field there are my 4 and 1 I've borrowed from a friend:D, on the farm there are about 15 other owners and approx 35 horses/ponies, blimey i didn't realise there was so many of us lol until i worked it out, we all have our own fields/areas so you can be as social or antisocial as you like;) I speak to everyone but only have a couple who i count as friends i would trust;)
 
Theres my yard owner and her 4 horses, and me and my horse, so very small! Only 6 stables altogether, it is lovely because no bitching or people messing with your stuff, have got a little school which no one else is ever using haha, and TONS of grazing/riding fields :) only thing I do miss having people to ride with!
 
40 and arghhhhhhhh to many - but we are moving so on look out for a small friendly yard/farm in ormskirk area - all year turn out a must and other horses a must so ideas anyone
 
15 at the moment its almost full, we have one new livery coming in Jan and then its full! :).

However there are only 11 owners (2 have 3 horses each), 5 sharers and no one full loaning!

Probably about 40, give or take those living out full time. but it never feels busy! Its nice having other people about to help if you need it! :o
 
We're very lucky, there's our yard owner and her daughter who have 7 horses and then me & bailey :) so quiet and relaxed and plenty of horses to fuss/ride! xx
 
I can't even begin to imagine being on a big yard. The biggest I was on was 4 owners with 8 horses, including me, and I didn't like that, despite it being so small!

I now rent a 2 acre paddock with stables for my two and am all by myself - I love it :) I always have someone to ride with as although I live in a small village there are lots of happy hackers about.

Haha.. I'm on a yard of 70 ish and the teenage girls go down in their jimjams in morning!! Lol
 
Moved to a small yard from a big one, too much bitching and schools always busy..! Now at a yard with about 10 liveries. Full size indoor and 2 large outdoors , it's bliss as you always get school to yourself..!!
 
23 horses, 19 owners
(space for one more at the moment and then possibly another in January, first time we've had a spare one in 4yrs)
 
Just me - my two on a yard for six and another yard of 3 pony stables with 20 acres! I used to have a few liveries, but prefer it just me! If I lose something, its me who has lost it! Lots of other people to ride with nearby if I get organised, but I like riding alone a lot - so does my mare!!
