How many bridles does your horse have?

I have one cheapie Kincaid because my horse likes chewing leather. But I am eyeing up a Scorpio from https://www.horsemanshipsaddlery.uk/ - sorely tempted but forgetful. I keep meaning to measure cobbus' ginormous head and forget each night. Maybe my subconscious is looking after my bank balance...

Welsh girl has a snaffle and a double
TB has a snaffle
Plus there's a floating one that gets used for hacking, lunging, dragging random horses around e.g. at vet etc.

5 but only one gets used . The others are old bridles that I've replaced for various reasons and not got around to doing anything with.

Three ?

One old scruffy one she came with that is used for hacking as then I don't have to worry about it getting scuffed or soaked.

One smart one for dressage with a drop and a blingy browband. One smart flat cavesson one for hunting and showing. I would have just changed the noseband and browband but it was barely more expensive to buy a whole new bridle.

3, all inherited from past owned fuzzies.

One v good quality brown show bridle.
One brown everyday RC/hacking bridle which cleans up nicely.
And one pretty expensive black bridle (that came with another Fuzzy), its lightweight, fits well and very comfortable for her but I detest the white behind the noseband and browband. I use it for rubbish weather hacking ?

I also have at least 6 other bridles Inc the 2 mini pony ones, all from years ago. But I only have the 1 riding Fuzzy these days so the 4 bigger bridles are put away.

3. One old Stubben I bought cheap when I got her. 1 nice Stubben and 1 anatomical. Did try to sell the nice Stubben but it didn't sell so I'll hang on to it

I use one between all 3 beasts. But I do have several others which act as spares / bitless / leather dressage compliant alternatives. And about a thousand pairs different types of reins.

Ooh, dont get me started on reins!
Ok, I will start ?.... laced reins, many continental sets, some plaited and numerous plain sets, I think I'm well stocked with v good quality reins :)

One each, but then there are at least 15 spares (complete) in the tack room, plus a couple of in-hand I have never used, 3 doubles, and a HUGE antique hunter bridle from somewhere... oh and lots of spare parts.

Despite this, we still ended up riding Bobby using someone else's bit held in his mouth with baler twine yesterday :/

I have one cheapie Kincaid because my horse likes chewing leather.

My cob is a chewer too. Can only liken him to a toddler that has to put everything in his mouth. Coats, Rugs, Whips, Bridles, Headcollars, Buckets ect!

2 - 1 synthetic fabric for hacking/wet weather, and 1 nice leather one for schooling/trips out.
I do have a spare bridle made up of parts from several different bridles that lives with my spares under the bed, not sure if that counts though.

1 each, made up from parts as Exmoor ponies have heads that are both pony sized and cob sized at the same time, and one endurance style one that is part head collar and part bridle, as one pony had a growth on his ear for a few weeks so needed a bridle I could put on like a head collar, which has also come in use for the led pony in riding and leading, and in long distance rides as the bit is detachable.

I own 3 bridles that get utilised across any horse I have at the time. I have different nosebands to swap and a double converter.

I never do home/competition bridles. They always compete in the bridle they are trained in.

Big fella had 2 bridles set up - one for jumping and galloping, one for dressage and regular hacking - hes been the first in a while to need kitting up for exciting stuff

Old boy has a black hacking bridle with flash noseband with no flash strap, a plain cavesson bridle for showing except it’s black rather than brown as it was bought for a previous horse. His old hacking bridle as a lunging bridle, a new hardly used Jefferies flash bridle bought for dressage (retired from comps shortly after purchase) and a brown in-hand bridle. New boy has the manky grakle bridle with ghastly old bling browband on it and a nice brown Stubben flash bridle as his now main one. I also have an in-hand training cavesson with a chain encased in leather noseband.

How many bridles does my HORSE have!? Just 1 full bridle. On lazy days he has a headslip with a bridoon on it and a set of continental reins.

The ponies - not a scooby! They all share and intermingle - basically if they aren't at a show they get the same one.

I have 1 bridle for work that generically fits everything too.

I am another with enough spare tack to kit out an army!

Hmmm... Glad I'm not the only weirdo with multiple bridles ? I have 4 between 2 horses but debating getting a 5th!

I have the standard traditional leather one which I use for hunting, competitions etc
My main everyday one which is a blue/white biothane with detachable bit (handy for my hacks home/garden graze And does not go mouldy! )
A biothane hackamore which was my pony's but I also use on my horse now. (pony has her own leather hackamore every day)
My 'dilemma' is the main blue/white bridle noseband is a bit big on my horse and does not adjust, so it can be a bit awkward to put on and off.Its also quite heavy. I'm debating getting a cool lightweight one I saw which is fully adjustable..... But I'm not sure I want to sell the other one ??

Two.

One Micklem with the ring on the noseband so can use it for lunging, in-hand work and as a bitless/bitted riding for riding.

He has a biothane bitless bridle too, which I tend to use the most as I can just rinse off when muddy/sweaty/dirty :)

Too many for just one pony! I have a pair of reins which just clip onto the bit, so I have a bridle for all situations
Anatomical with myler snaffle for schooling/lessons etc.
Plain cavesson with gag for hacking
Rose gold matchy matchy for dressage or showjumping when out and about
Hackamore for schooling at home
Grackle for cross country
Hunter bridle for showing

I also have an old bridle which I use for lunging or leading when pony has to be reminded of his manners!

I think I have a problem...

3 brown 1 for lunging 1 for hacking & 1 for schooling (different bits)
3 black - same purposes and each with own bit too ?
I have a brown saddle and a black too.
Also 1 brown breastgirth with martingale and 1 black.
One horse ?
